Andhra Bank has again announced its clerk recruitment & is inviting applications from those qualified in IBPS clerical exam held in 2011.Established in the year 1906, it is one of the leading public sector banks in India.With head office in Andhra Pradesh, the bank operates with over 1300 branches across various states.
The bank in the month of May had issued an advt to fill 600 clerical vacancies. The last date was also extended after changing the minimum educational qualifications.
An important point to note here is, candidates who had applied previously but couldn't get interview calls can reapply without paying fees.
Date of Interviews shall be intimated later
A merit list shall be prepared statewise/ categorywise taking into account the scores of CWE & Interview.Depending on this, final selections will be made.
For others, ahe application fees have been fixed at Rs.150 (gen/obc) & Rs.50 (sc/st) which can be remitted at any branch of Andhra bank or through NEFT payment.

Am I Eligible?
Inorder to submit your applications for these clerk posts in Andhra bank, the following eligibility criteria must be satisfied,- Aged within 18 - 28 yrs as on Aug 1, 2011 (+5 yrs for SC/ST, +3 yrs for OBC)
- Pass in degree OR 60% marks aggregate in HSC or 12th exam
- Official language of the state applied for should be known
- Posses knowledge of computer operations with proficiency in MS Office
Selections:
Candidates sending applications will be shortlisted based on their scores in IBPS common exam & no. of vacancies.The ratio of selection will normally be in the ratio of 1:3 or 1:5 (each category).A merit list shall be prepared statewise/ categorywise taking into account the scores of CWE & Interview.Depending on this, final selections will be made.
Registrations:

- Collect receipt from bank & proceed to submit your online application
