Who can apply for Clerk Recruitment in Bank of India ?

As all of us know that Bank of India is the participating bank in the IBPS Common Written Exam, so clearing the IBPS Common exam is the only way to get Clerical Job in Bank of India.

Recently the IBPS had declared the Clerk's Common Written Exam Results in the last week of February in which 5.31 lakh students have been decalred as sucessfull.These passed students can now apply for Jobs in the public Sector banks.Soon after the decalration of result, in the third week of march, Bank of Baroda had announced it notification for 2000 clerk vacancy.

Now, its turn for Bank of India and here comes the news from reliable sources that Bank of India will soon announce its 3500 Clerk vacancy.Only passed students in the IBPS Clerk Exam 2011 who have been issued valid scorecards by IBPS can apply for Clerk vacancy in Bank of India.

When to Apply for Bank of India Clerk Recruitment 2012 ?

Bank of India Clerical Notification in yet to be announced officially, although there is some reliable information that Official announcement will be made public in the last week of April, 2012

IBPS Cut off Marks for Bank of India

Since the vacancies are distributed between the states, so the cut off for each state will be different.Since the highest number of qualified candidates are from the states of UP, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar etc, so we can expect a higher cut off for these states and for States of North-East and other states Like Goa, we can expect lower cutt offs.



Eg: In the Bank of Baroda Clerk Recruitment Detailed Advt., we have seen that the Cut off marks for Bihar is 183 and for North-Eastern states it is only 120 marks.
