For Indian Administrative Service, a candidate should be a citizen of India.

For Indian Foreign Service and other services, a
candidate should either be a citizen of India/ a subject of Nepal/ a
subject of Bhutan/ a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st
January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India/a
person of Indian origin who has migrated from other countries (detailed

intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification
|

A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.
|
•

A Candidate appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and awaiting result can also apply.

•

A Candidate possesses professional and technical
qualification recognised by Government equivalent to the professional
and
technical degree can also apply.
|
•
|
A Candidate who has passed the final professional M.B.B.S.
or any other Medical Examination but has not completed his/her
internship by the time of submission of his/her application for the
Civil Services (Main) Examination
