Food Corporation of India (FCI) recruitment is unrelated to IBPS common written exams as Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts this selection procedure.So don't confuse these openings at FCI with regular bank jobs.

Post & Vacancies:

Assistant Grade (AG) III positions with payscale of Rs.9300-22940 are available in



  • North Zone – 3023 nos.



  • East Zone– 753 nos.




  • West Zone– 869 nos.




  • South Zone – 1659 nos.



  • North-East Zone – 241 nos.

    Eligibility:

    To apply for FCI jobs you must satisfy the following conditions,
    • Age should not be more than 27 yrs as on 1.8.2012 (+5yrs for sc/st & +3 yrs for obc)
    • Must be proficient in computer operations 
    AG III (dept.)
    Education as on August 1, 2012
    General, Depot Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
    Accounts To have completed commerce degree (B.Com)
    Technical B.Sc in Agri. OR Botany/ Zoology/ Bio-Tech/ Microbiology/ Food science OR BE/ BTech in Food science/ Agri engg. /Bio-technology


    Process:

    As far the selection process is considered, there shall be a Written test that consists of 2 papers (paper I in Nov & IInd,IIIrd papers on Jan 6, 2013)
    While General/ Account/ Depot applicants have to appear for paper I & II, those applying for Technical dept. have to appear for paper I & III.




  • The question papers will be of objective type & candidates qualifying in the written examinations would have to appear for a computer proficiency test (CPT)





  • Only those clearing CPT shall be considered for final selection based on their exam scores.

    Paying Fees & Applying:

    GEN/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.200 in cash at any SBI branch using challan provided after registration or through netbanking on or before September 21st.
    SC/ST/ ExSM/ PH & all women applicants are not required to pay fees.
    After collecting the payment challan/ details, head over to fill your application online with necessary info, upload sign & photo at ssconline.nic.in or ssconline2.gov.in

    An email would be sent to applicants after successful submission.
