The United India Insurance Company (UIIC) has announced recruitment of Administrative officers.The organization formed in 1938 is one of the leading general insurance service providers in the public sector space.With head office in Chennai & over 1430 branches across India, the ownership is fully vested with Govt. of India.

Vacancies & Pay:

Administrative Officer (scale I) – 350 posts

Dates:

Online registration links open from 07.04.2012 to 25.04.2012
Written exam to be conducted on 03.06.2012

Eligibility:

• Age to be within 21 – 30 yrs as on 31.12.2011 (max age +3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST,+10yrs for PC) 
• Working knowledge of computers is required
• Based on below education qualifications a person can apply to any 1 of the following groups only

Group name	Educational requirements (as on 31.12.2011)
Group A	60% marks aggr. in ACA/ ACS/ ACWA OR MCom (55% for SC/ST)
Group B	degree in B.E (CS/ECE/EEE) OR MCA/ MIT/ MCM
Group C	LLB or equivalent with atleast 3 yrs exp.as practicing lawyer
Group D	Pass in B.E/B.Tech (Mech./Electrical/Civil/Electronics/Mettalurgy)
Group E	PG in Maths/ Stats/ Actuarial science
Group F	Any UG degree with 60% (55% for sc/st) OR 55% (50% for sc/st) in PG

Selections:

The process of selection for Administrative officer posts is same as that of other public sector insurance companies involving Written test & Interview.

The exam shall consist of Objective & professional knowledge test (in your specialized area).In addition, Descriptive test would also be a part.

Consideration for Interview will be on the basis of performance in written exam & marks from both these stages shall be taken up for final appointment.

Service Bond

Candidates selected to join as AO in UIIC must execute a bond undertaking agreeing to work for a period of 4 years that includes 1 yr probation.

• The monthly salary would be approx. Rs.30,000 /month
• Incase of resigning before the end of bond, you will have to pay the entire salary for the yrs served + Rs.25,000 (training cost)

Eligible candidates must carry a challan (given at UIIC site) to any SBI branch & pay Rs.525 (Rs.125 for SC/ST/PWD) as application fees before April 25.The account no. of deposit the amount can be had from the notice.

• After collecting the payment receipt from bank. visit www.uiic.co.in to apply online 
• Click on the Online application link & fill in the required details to submit the form  on or before Apr 25, 2012
• On successful submission, remember to take a print of the system provided form as reference.
