SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment – Final Results Out!!

State Bank of India has declared the much awaited results of 4987 PO recruitment in its SBI group.The hiring was held to fill probationary officer positions in SBI`s 5 associate banks.It has taken nearly 10 months to complete the process which began in the second half of 2011.

A total of 4900 PO vacancies were to be filled in the following banks - State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Travancore (SBT) for which notifications & ads were released in the month of June 2012.

Selection phases:

As per schedule, the written tests (phase I) were conducted on August 7, 2011 across many centres.

Phase II of the selection process included group discussion cum Interviews & shortlisted candidates were called to attend these activities that was held during the months of Feb/ March 2012.

Now Its Results:

Exactly a month after interview, SBI has released the list of 4800 candidates finally selected for appointment as PO in their associate banks.Check if your rollnumber is displayed by getting the file from here

It seems candidates have been allotted banks as per their preference chosen while registering applications & the numbers are also grouped bank-wise.

What's Next?

The details related to joining formalities can be expected to be sent via email by state bank.

Although the scores of qualified people are not available, SBI is known to update them after a month of publishing the results.So those who were not able to make it will have to wait for some more time until the bank enables online link to view your scores for this PO recruitment.

The release of SBI associate bank po results coincides with the current PO & clerk recruitments happening in other public banks.It has made candidates with IBPS PO score of 160 & below to take note of this development hoping lower cutoffs, atleast for the upcoming bank jobs.
