Karnataka Bank Starts Officers Recruitment 2012

Karnataka Bank, a private sector bank has announced recruitment of Officers for its locations across India.Established in 1924, the bank currently has presence of over 480 branches across 20 states.With headquarters in Mangalore of Karnataka state, it have approximately 5800 employees on its rolls.

Officer (scale I) – could be approx. Rs.23,000/ month

To remember: Online registration of applications – 29.12.2011 to 13.01.2012
Written test – 12th February 2012

Who are eligible: The eligibility conditions for Officer posts in Karnataka bank are,

* Should not be over 30 yrs of age, as on Dec 1, 2011 (+5 yrs for SC/ST)
* Chartered accountants OR UG in agriculture sciences OR PG in any degree
* While PG diploma holders are not eligible, MBA, MCA can apply.

How are selections made: The process for officer jobs selection into Karnataka bank is through written test, scheduled to be held in Bangalore & Mangalore.Interviews shall be conducted for those who are shortlisted.

• Although the test pattern has not been revealed, it would be similar to other bank recruitment exams, containing the following sections – Reasoning, Numerical ability, General awareness & English.

Bond agreement: Appointed candidates will have to sign 3 years bond with the bank & the probation period shall be 1 year, after which they become confirmed employees.
